Avocado Inc. was founded by Sarah Bruns who is a technology enthusiast, entrepreneur, speaker and writer. She is passionate about creating truly engaging brands, igniting conversations and leveraging technology to drive communication and attract attention.
With a solid background in technology, marketing and psychology, she understands what it takes to create a strategy and brand that will spark interest, and implement that strategy with a variety of innovative tools.
Sarah holds two undergraduate degrees, focusing on the areas of Marketing and Entrepreneurship and is currently completing her MBA at Benedictine University. She is also working on her first book.
She is extremely active in the community, having served on the Marketing Advisory Council for the DuPage Children’s Museum and as the Immediate Past Chair for the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce Women In Business committee in 2011. She is currently the Growth and Resource Leader for the Empowering Women Network. In 2012 she was elected to the Board of Directors for the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce and accepted the position of Chair of the 2012 Naperville Jazz Festival, which benefits Project H.E.L.P.
In 2012 Avocado, Inc. expanded the Executive Team and welcomed Robert Siebert, PMP as it’s new COO.
Robert is an accomplished Eagle Scout, and currently holds a position on the Board of Directors for local non-profit Touch My Heart. He also serves as an active small-group leader for his church, and has been involved in the Rotary.
After nearly 9 years of success as an Executive for the Boy Scouts of America, and a previous stint in the corporate world, he has made the jump into entrepreneurialism by becoming a partner in Avocado, Inc.
With a degree in Engineering and a self-proclaimed “nerdy side” Robert is fascinated by how to create more successful leaders and improve effectiveness within teams.
Avocado, Inc. has experienced incredible consistent growth since opening their doors in 2008 and was recently nominated for the Naperville Chamber of Commerce 2011 Small Business of the Year Awards.
